License overages

When more licenses are assigned to users than you purchased, an overage notification is sent to all account administrators. The email notification is designed to give you time to review usage and take action before access to products is affected.  This most commonly occurs when new users are added and assigned product access before purchasing additional licenses for them. 

Once a license overage is detected, an email notification is sent to account administrators outlining the overage and the affected products.

If the overage remains unresolved, a final warning email is sent five days after the initial detection.

If no action is taken within seven days of the initial overage detection, access to the affected products is revoked and users will no longer be able to use those products.
