# Using Groups to Segment Culture Assessment Results

After the culture survey is closed, the results will be generated. If you want the results to be broken down by categories such as **Business Unit, Management Level,** or **Department**, you must create an *additional* group to represent those segments. 

This setup must be completed **before** the survey is launched.

To create these segments, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the **Administration** section of the application and open the **Groups** tab.
2. Select the **Create a Group** button.
3. Enter a name for your group, such as Marketing Team.
4. Use the **Group Type** dropdown to label the group. Choosing a group type gives you added user management and reporting features.
5. **Save** the group.
